Spine and corners bumped with slight rubbing. Name in ink to front pastedown. Joints just starting to crack. Corner of grey frontis mount is creased. Foxing throughout (some heavy). A nice copy of an attractive book.

Name and date inscription in ink of previous owner to front pastedown. A few light margin marks, but contents are still very good and nice and tight.

The authors first book for children. Yellow and red pictorial boards. Full-page b/w illustrations. 42 pages. Spine and corners just a little worn. Tiny dent to lower edge of front cover. Light foxing to endpapers and contents (mainly to page edges). A couple of faint marks to prelims else covers and contents clean). Dustwrapper is edge worn and grubby with foxing and large damp stain to top edge of rear panel. Minimal loss to top and tail of spine, some closed tears which have been repaired with magic tape on verso.
