Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Top third of spine faded. Covers slightly grubby with some light scratches. Ink inscription to verso of frontis and belongs to box completed in frontis. Light browning and foxing to contents. Colouring to a few of the b/w illustrations.

Large format. Red cloth spine with black title, pictorial boards with front showing 3 girls playing with a hoop. Mounted colour plates. Numerous b/w text illustrations. First story is "Little Miss Robinson Crusoe" by Corbett. Includes some b/w cat illustrations by Wain. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Spine faded and silver rubbed. A few marks to covers and two scratches to onlay. Joints cracked, rear joint showing webbing. Label, with name on, stuck to front endpaper covering writing, label partially removed below. Edge of front endpaper creased with small tears. Contents generally clean, all plates present.

Green illustrations on pages with verses and months. Covers slightly grubby with a little bubbling to front cover and faint stains, looks like been splashed with water. Ink inscription to front endpaper. Staples strating to rust. Contents clean and colours bright.

Very good condition in a good dustwrapper.
Red cloth spine. Pictorial front board shows children playing each with a month on them. First story is 'The Girl Who Liked Fairy Tales. Pretty colour plates and two-tone text illustrations. 163 pages. Base of spine bumped. Minimal wear to spine and corners. A couple of hinges starting to crack. Just a odd fox spot otherwise contents clean. Dustwrapper is badly torn around bottom half of spine and along rear fold and into rear panel, with creasing but very little loss. Small tears and creasing to top of spine. A few other chips and tears to edges.

Colour plates plus black and white illustrations. Brazil story is 'The Scallywag Boys'. First story is The Spoil Sport by Avery. 10.25" x 8". Spine bumped with some rubbing to vignette. Wear to corners and cover edges. A few marks and scratches to covers. Pencil writing about contents to front endpaper. Some browning to endpapers, prelims and last couple of pages. Evidence of something having been stuck to rear endpaper. Contents very good.
