Almost very good condition.
Green cloth spine, pictorial paper boards show young girl in a blue & white pinafore holding a baby and watching a kitten and puppy at her feet. Verse for children. Colour chromolithographic illustrations plus two tone illustrations. Bumping and wear to cover edges, corners and spine. Scuffing and marks to covers. Has possibly been rebound or restitched at some point; the front fly-leaf is now missing. Foxing and marks to pages throughout. Illustrations are still bright.

Large format. Blue cloth with gilt title and pictorial onlay to front. Colour plates and b/w text illustrations. 176 pages. Green and white pictorial endpapers. Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. There is some slight wrinkling of cloth to rear cover. Frontis has been re-inserted in the incorrect place (before half-title) and is slightly edge-chipped. Light page browning to contents.
