Volume 76. Green pictorial cloth. Gilt titles. Colour plates and b/w illustrations. First story is 'Penelope - Poet' by Dorothea Moore. 10" x 7" Spine and corners bumped and a little worn. A few light marks to rear board. Both joints cracked. Title page and prelims missing. Inscription to verso of frontis. Colouring to a few b/w illustrations. Biro has been used to outline some smaller illustrations. Biro drawing on reverse of one illustration which does affect a small part of text. Small hole to one colour plate. Some foxing and grubby margin marks.

Some light browning and foxing, mainly to endpapers and prelims.

Blue & red pictorial endpapers by Brisley. Colour plates. Full page four tone illustrations plus two tone illustrations. Spine bumped, worn and a little faded. Corners bumped and worn. Board edges rubbed. Rear board has a couple of small indents and is marked. Front is grubby and a little scratched. Front joint and some hinges are cracked. Endpapers are browned. Inscription in ink plus a pencil drawn circle to the verso of the frontis. Couple of plates (one colour and one four tone) have ragged edges. Some foxing mostly to page edges and grubby marks to contents.

Name and date to verso of title page. Creasing to bottom of some pages. Light foxing mainly to page edges plus some grubby marks although many pages are clean.
