Engraved and printed by Edmund Evans. Covers are heavily worn with some bumping, fading and marks. Front joint is cracked; half-title page is nearly detached. Contents are generally very good, but pages do have some grubby margin marks.

Light foxing to contents and small circular mark to margin of a few pages. Small erased pencil mark to margin of one page. A nice copy of the first edition.
