Almost very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
The life story of the Stephensons, father and son, the story of the birth of the railways, an historical event of which it would be difficult to exaggerate the importance. Terracotta cloth boards, gilt titles. B/w illustrations. Heavy knock to top front edge of boards else boards clean and bright. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Text block browned. Contents clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is faded to spine, has a tiny nick to top front edge, grubby to rear panel.

The story of the Dinuzulu, son of Cetshwayo king of the Zulu Kingdom 1873-1879. Dinuzulu and the final dissolution of the great military empire which the tyrant Shaka had founded. Black boards, gilt title to spine. B/w photos. Browning to text block and musty odour to contents. Pictorial dustwrapper is slightly faded to spine and edge-worn with tape repair.
