The Garden City: Before and After. The evolution of the Garden City and the suburb, which resulted from changes in the cities and their dwellings and the embergence of model villages around factories during the early nineteenth century. Blue cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w photos and plans. Brown tape marks to endpapers. Text block browned. Price-cut brown dustwrapper is lightly chipped at top & tail of spine and is a little grubby.
