This book explores what many race fans beleive to be the golden age of motorcycle grand prix racing. The era was characterised by scary two-stroke 500 GP bikes, renowned for ejecting riders at terrifying speeds. It took a special breed of bike racer to take these ground-attack missiles to the limit and byond - that's why these five men were road racing's superheroes:Kevin Schwantz, Wayne Rainey, Eddie Lawson, Mick Doohan and Wayne Gardner. Black cloth boards, gilt title to spine. Colour photos. 239 pages. ISBN: 9781844255832. Narrow margin of uneven fading to top of front board. Small knock to top edge of boards. A few marks to contents (imprinting of ink from facing page) else contents bright. Black pictorial dustwrapper is lightly scuffed.
