Nine volume set in two slip cases: The Case-book; His Last Bow; The Return; The Memoirs; The Adventures; A Study in Scarlet; The Sign of Four; The Hound of the Baskervilles; The Valley of Fear. Green cloth boards with black silhouette of holmes, gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations. One set of five and one set of four in slipcase.
Second printing. Spines are lightly browned. Gilt titles lightly rubbed. A few minor marks to boards. Contents are clean. Contained in publisher's slipcases which are heavily shelf-scuffed to base, scuffed to sides, relatively minor splash marks to base of 5 volume slipcase (slipcases are generally VG).
