Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. Ladybird series 401. Grey/white marbled effect boards; pictorial onlay to front cover. Beautiful colour illustrations!
Light bumping to spine and a couple of cover edges. Prize plate stuck to front pastedown. Ink '5' written to front endpaper. Foxing to endpapers, outer page edges and some page margins. Illustrations are beautifully bright! Wrapper has 1-2" tear vertically down to top of spine and then horizontally. A few other small tears/chips to wrapper, with minimal loss. Foxing also to wrapper.
