Red cloth spine. Pictorial front cover shows Santa hanging from a TV Aerial! First story "The strange happening at number 8" by Boyd. Includes "The Page That Blew Away" by Blyton. 5 colour plates plus b/w and two-tone illustrations. Spine bumped, corners worn. Removal of a plate to verso of front free-endpaper. Inscription in ink to verso of frontis. Remains of dustwrapper is tucked inside book.

The 2nd Golden Book of Comics. Yellow cloth covers with red title to spine and embossed decoration to front cover. 320 pages. 32 pages in full colour, 32 pages in 2 colour, over 900 illustrations. First story is "Buster's Circus Parade" by Felix Kay. Johns story is "The Case of the Mysterious Gunshots". Blyton story is "He Lost His Head!". Spine and corners bumped, covers slightly grubby. Foxing and grubby fingermarks to textblock and contents. Dustwrapper is worn and grubby.
Large format. Cloth spine, pictorial boards showing three small children with three "ABC" balloons. Lovely colour illustrations throughout. Lots of rhymes, poems and stories. Spine bumped and rubbed. Corners worn. Covers slightly grubby with small pen mark to front. Small pen mark to front free-endpaper. Name in belongs to box has been partially erased. Grubby fingermarks to contents.

Some foxing and fingering to page margins.

B/w frontis and title-page. Spine and corners bumped. Covers slightly grubby and edge rubbed. Embossed booksellers stamp to front free-endpaper. Foxing throughout. Some markings to rear pastedown.
