Almost very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. The autobiography of New Zealand's famous Battle of Britain pilot in the R.A.F. from the Munich crisis until the invasion of France in 1944. His nine lives are the accounts of his fantastic luck in coming out alive from seemingly impossible situations. Red boards, gilt title to spine. B/w photos. 262 pages including index.
Spine a little worn. Two names in ink to front endpaper. Foxing to text block and a few page margins. Price-cut blue dustwrapper is grubby, browned and edge-worn with some chipping to corners.
