Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. The Swallows are expecting to have a holiday with their parents on the islands in Hamford Water, mapping the multitude of tidal islands. The First Sea Lord has other ideas and summons Daddy to London. Daddy decides that the Swallows can go and secretly invites the Amazons too. Type reset. Green boards, gilt title to spine. Blind title to front cover. Endpapers are maps. 41 b/w illustrations. 380 pages.
Reprint. Boards clean. Slight lean to spine. Text block lightly browned with some foxing. Contents clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is a little grubby, browned to spine, worn at corners with a few tiny closed tears.
