Almost very good condition. Burgundy boards with silver titles and onlay of the Tailor mouse on front cover. Illustrated endpapers of potter characters reading books. 85 pages. Small format. Beautiful colour illustrations throughout. The second book in the series of Beatrix Potter tales and Beatrix's personal favourite.
A little bumping and wear to spine and corners. Browning to spine and some cover edges. Covers lightly rubbed/mottled. Ink inscription to verso of front endpaper. A couple of hinges starting to crack but binding is firm. Contents generally clean. Light foxing to text block and rear endpapers.
