Fair condition. Complete set of the Tales Of Peter Rabbit. 23 books in total housed in original Peter Rabbit wooden bookshelf which has been painted white.
Most books dated between 1948 - 1959. Spine and corners on all books bumped and worn and some have a few small splits to spine. Covers of most books are grubby. Joints and hinges cracked. Front joint of Samuel Whiskers and Timmy Tiptoes are broken. Inscription or writing in 10 of the books. Some books have red marks on the last page. Contents of all books are fingered and most have a few margin marks. 6 books have wrappers which are edge worn with some tears. Wrappers are grubby. The wrapper on Two Bad Mice is in two pieces. Two books have front panel, flap and part of spine of wrapper. All books are reading copies. Bookshelf is grubby and chipped.
