  • Monica (Mickey) Wycherly tells this story. She, her elder sister Simone, and their brothers Dean and Charles decide that the standard of riding and horsemanship in the neighbourhood must be improved. They are lucky in many ways - notably in having a grandfather who is Master of the local Hunt. He is a formidable old gentleman with no hesitation in speaking his mind about bad riding or bad manners. The youngsters soon realise that their dream can only be fulfilled by hard work and efficient organisation of the Club they form.
