Serial stories are The Bell Buoy of Wanflete Sound, The Foolish Fox and Omas: The Story of an Indian Girl. Spine bumped and worn, corners worn. Light marks to rear covers. One joint cracked. Name in pencil twice to front endpaper. Some foxing and marks to contents. Small margin tear and crease to title page. All plates present.

16 short stories about farmyard animals; Noodledoo the hen who complained her eggs were taken away each morning, Too-Weak the piglet who wouldn't go grubbing, Goosey who was always late, and many more. Each story is accompanied by a pretty and detailed handcoloured plate. Dark red embossed cloth with gilt title and vignette to front cover. 38 pages + 2 page booklist. The book has been restored with new red endpapers. Spine covering torn at top and tail. Corners bumped and worn. Covers bright and clean. A few small marks to front pastedown. Inscription in ink to verso of first plate with has a few small edge-tears, most repaired. Some foxing to contents but plates still bright. A very nice copy of a rare book.
