The story of the Hawker 'heavy' fighter, from the development of the Typhoon and Tornado as interceptors in the late 1930s to the final service of the Tempest with the British, Indian and Pakistan air force a decade and a half later. Large format. B/w photos.
Minor nick to base of rear board. Browning to top margin of endpapers and prelims. Foxing to top of text block. Otherwise contents clean. Foxing to verso of dustwrapper (not visible to front), spine faded.
