The authors shrewd, unsentimental, extremely funny survey of the manners, customs and recreations of the English in mid-20th century. Pale blue cloth, gilt title to spine. Two-tone line illustrations. Spine and corners bumped. Slight rubbing and foxing to cover edges. Light foxing to textblock. Price-cut wrapper is slightly edge worn/creased.
