Spine and corners bumped, wear to top of spine. Ink scribbles and remains of a Boots Library sticker to front cover. Rear cover is slightly faded at edges. Name and date in ink to front free-endpaper. Foxing to endpapers, textblock and page margins. Remains of a couple of labels to rear endpapers.

Black pictorial dustwrapper is worn and chipped to top of spine, rubbed at corners, lightly marked to rear panel.
