Spine and corners bumped and rubbed. Spine faded. Some marks to rear cover which is faded at the top. Surface paper damage to front pastedown. Inscription in ink to top of front endpaper. Front joint cracked. Endpapers are browned. Three plates detached including frontis which has a small tear to top edge. Loose plates have ragged edges. Foxing and fingering to contents. Pages 247 - 250 are loose.
