by David A. Thomas; Patrick Holmes
Published by Leo Cooper. 1st. 1997
Very good condition in a nearly fine dustwrapper. The tragic sinking of HM cruiser Curacoa off Bloody Foreland in 1942 was a disaster of stunning proportions. The Cunard liner Queen Mary sliced through the cruiser in broad daylight and 338 men died, most of them within minutes, all of them victims of a series of errors... Dark blue boards, gilt title to spine. B/w photos.
SIGNED by the author with personal dedication to title page. A few minor marks to boards and corners lightly bumped. Text block slightly grubby.
