Good condition in a good dustwrapper. An account of the romantic rise to fame and ultimate disbandment of Air Transport Auxiliary, the little-known Ferry Pilot service of the war. Green cloth boards, gilt titles. B/w photos. 248 pages. Includes list of officially recognised pilots and air crew.

Gilt titles rubbed. Corners bumped. Inscription in ink to front pastedown. Hinges pulled but binding still tight. A few minor annotations to pilots list. Blue dustwrapper is edge-worn with a few closed tears and chips, strengthened with clear tape at edges.
