Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. A period novelette featuring the Gills of Twickenham and misunderstandings at a ball, based on the operetta by Eleanor and Herbert Farjeon. Deep pink cloth covers with silver titles to spine and silver vignette. B/w chapter headers. 163 pages.
SIGNED by author, with dedication and date, on front endpaper. A little bumping and wear to spine and corners. Pages are lightly browned but contents are clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn with some tears and chips, tear across spine near top, slight loss from ends of spine. Bottom corner cut from front flap. Wrapper is a little grubby.
