- This is the story of a little Blue Alarm Clock who lives with all the other clocks on a glass shelf in a clockmaker's shop, until he is bought by a little boy and his mother, and taken to their home. He is frightened that he will not be able to ring his alarm bell all by himself now that there are no other clocks to help him. But the little Blue Clock does ring his bell, and he is the happiest little clock in the world.
