THE BARRY LOCOMOTIVE PHENOMENON

by Francis Blake; Peter Nicholson

Published by Haynes Publishing Group. 1st. 1987

Slightly better than very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. A comprehensive and entertaining account of how almost three hundred ex-BR (and almost wholly steam) locomotives ended their working lives at this South Wales seaside town facing the cutter's torch but how over two hundred of them escaped what seemed an inevitable fate. Large format. Brown cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w and a few colour photos. 192 pages.

A few minor marks to rear board. Else a lovely copy. Pictorial dustwrapper is sunned to spine and lightly scuffed to rear panel.
