Top 2/3rds of spine is detached with loose piece loosely inserted to front of book; smaller split to rest of spine, which is also browned. Bumping to corners. Damp staining to rear cover. Large white label with inscription in ink to front endpaper, which covers a previous inscription in ink. Frontis has been reattached. Hinges are pulled. Some browning and light foxing. A reading copy.
