Dark green cloth. Gilt decorations. Black & white illustrations. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Damp stains to covers, affects top corner of front pastedown. Some pencil erasure to front free-endpaper. Rear joint cracked. Gathering of pages 99 to 110 are pulled loose but still the stitching is still attached. Some fingering and grubby marks to contents. Heavy pencil erased from plate opposiite page 20.
