Secret Agents, mysterious shots and mysterious strangers at dead o'night; funny goings-on on Dead Man's Chest (the Crawford family's private island), submarines, depth-charges, human torpedoes and frogmen; maroonings in sea caves, and international gangs - all these help make this 'Cormorant' story a racy tale with never a dull moment. Blue boards, dark blue titles. B/w illustrations.
Some very faint mottling to covers especially spine. Neat gift inscription in ink to front endpaper. Contents clean. Price-cut dustwrapper is lightly edge-rubbed and a little grubby to rear panel.
