A history and catalogue of Roman coins that particularly refer to the campaigns fought in Britain, and of the coins that were struck here when the country was a Roman province. Brown cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations of coins.

Narrow band of fading to top & tail of spine. Contents clean. Beige dustwrapper is lightly rubbed at corners and a small chip to top of spine.
