Good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
A definitive study covering the history, mechanism, restoration and conservation of the lantern clock. Large, heavy format. Blue cloth boards, gilt titles. 8 colour plates, numerous b/w illustrations throughout. ISBN: 0907462332. Boards clean and bright. Text block grubby. Surface paper damage to front endpaper caused by removal of labels. Title page is MISSING. Colour plate 1 has a two line ink stamp to lower margin, text crossed out with black felt-tip pen. (Suspect possibly EX-LIB). Couple of small patches of surface paper loss to rear pastedown. Contents are clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is rubbed at corners, has a small closed tear to lower front corner repaired with clear tape to verso, creasing to horizontal edges and a little grubby to top of front panel, slight surface paper loss to lower spine. Overall a decent copy at a lower price due to faults.

The best of the "Bizarre" years. Every single one of Clarice Cliff's finest designed illustrated in colour. Large format. ISBN: 0952635410. Top of spine bumped. Glue which binds the free front endpapers to the contents has dried out and therefore the endpapers are unstuck inside the front hinge. Otherwise, contents clean and bright. Pictorial dustwrapper is lightly scuffed to rear panel.
