FOXIE THE SINGING DOG
by Ingri D'Aulaire; Edgar Parin D'Aulaire
Illustrated by Edgar Parin D'Aulaire
Published by Doubleday & Company, Inc.. 1st thus. 1969
Very good condition. One day Foxie's owner's pranks go too far when he lures his dog out onto the busy city streets with a tasty bone and loses her. Foxie is soon rescued by a roly-poly circus-animal trainer who spots her flair for singing and adds her to his act, alongside a piano-playing cat and a strutting rooster. Oblong format. Pictorial cloth boards. Library binding. Colour illustrations throughout. Unpaginated.
Boards faded. Corners lightly rubbed and worn. Contents clean. Despite the fading, this is a lovely book.
