Almost very good condition. A checklist of the works of Beatrix Potter. Detailing the points to look for when identifying first editions. Includes illustrations of endpapers, details of American editions, Potter manuscripts and much more. Invaluable reference work. Fuschia card-wraps. B/w illustrations. First edition of 250 copies was issued privately by the author in 1954, a further 450 copies were published in 1983.
Covers are faded (mainly to spine) and slightly grubby. Front joint is cracked and rear joint starting to crack but binding still tight.
