A true nature story of the first venturesome weeks of life of two small furry black bear cubs learning the ways of the woods through the loving but not always gentle instruction of their huge mother. Green boards, black titles and vignette. 112 pages. B/w illustrations.
Bumping to spine and corners with some wear. Small piece of surface paper missing from top edge of rear cover. Front and rear endpapers are stuck to pastedowns. Small piece missing from bottom edge of last illustration page. A lot of grubby fingermarks and marks to contents. Foxing to page edges. Price-cut dustwrapper is edge worn, torn and chipped with clear tape stuck to either end of spine and folds. Brown marks to front flap, spine a little faded.
