Grey cloth, gilt title to spine. xviii & 410pp inc. index. Numerous b/w plates & figures throughout. 8.75 x 5.75". Foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. Wrapper is faded to spine with some edge-tears and chips; grubby marks.

Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
An ethnological and historical study of traditional methods of river fishing in England and Wales (mostly Wales and the Welsh borders). Gilt title to spine. 335 pages including index plus numerous plates, diagrams and illustrations throughout. 9 x 5.75". ISBN: 0715365460. Text block a little browned and grubby. Pictorial dustwrapper is heavily faded to spine and less so to top front panel, rear panel scuffed.
