A HISTORY OF MONMOUTHSHIRE: THE HUNDRED OF ABERGAVENNY PART II
Published by Mitchell Hughes and Clarke. 1st. 1906
Almost very good condition. From the Coming of the Normans into Wales down to the present time. Very large format. Very heavy. Beige cloth spine, paper boards with black title. Frontis is colour folding map of the Hundred of Abergavenny. B/w illustrations.
Boards grubby, marked and stained. Edges worn with slight loss of surface paper. Spine is a little grubby and a little faded. Front endpapers split showing webbing but binding still tight. Foxing to endpapers, prelims and last few pages. Both maps present at front. A few grubby marks to contents but mostly clean. Loose tissue guard at page 366 which is heavily worn and chipped at edges. Overall a nice copy.
