Almost very good condition in a good dustwrapper. Minda, with her colt Crescent, joins a Pony Club. One of the other members is jealous of her and tries to keep her out of the Area Competitions. Green cloth, gilt title to spine. 188 pages. 6 b/w illustrations.

Small hole to spine; couple of score marks to covers. Inscriptions in ink to front endpaper. Foxing to outer page edges. Wrapper is torn and chipped with some yellowing tape repairs; a little loss.

This is the story of Minda Budge, who, with her colt Crescent, joins a Pony Club started by three children, and proves to be easily the best rider among them. Unfortunately another young member of the Club, Jill, is jealous of Minda and when she is chosen to represent the Club in the Area Competitions, Jill tries to keep Minda and Crescent out of the event.
