Nearly fine condition in a slightly better than very good dustwrapper. The tomb of a Thracian chieftain, which came to light in 1944, is one of the most valuable treasures of ancient art in the Bulgarian lands. Very large format. Cream imitation leather boards, gilt titles. Colour plates.
Pictorial dustwrapper has a small closed tear to base of spine and is lightly scuffed to rear panel. Contained in a thin card slipcase in very good condition.
