Very good condition in a slightly better than very good dustwrapper. St Kilda - a spectacular and remote island archipelago comprising of Soay, Boreray with its Stacs, and the main island, Hirte, lies out in the windswept Atlantic, one hundred miles from the Scottish mainland. On Friday 29th August 1930, the Harebell sailed out of the bay carrying the remaining few St Kildans away to new lives on the mainland. Black boards, gilt title to spine. B/w photos and illustrations.
Foxing to endpapers. Free front endpaper has a small bookplate to top right corner. Contents otherwise clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is lightly faded to spine.
