Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. Yellow boards. B/w illustrations. A Fricka story.

Bumping to a couple of corners. Foxing/browning to endpapers and outer page edges. Pictorial wrapper is a little grubby, with some creasing and edge-chipping with a few small edge-tears.

  • Whooping cough began it. Because of quarantine, Fricka, Hugo, Sugar and young Adrian find their summer holidays unexpectedly lengthened, and they look forward to long September days at Combedene, their farmhouse home in Somerset, care free of school. Two main interests absorb them: The Munster horse-show and Fricka's determination that a meet of fox-hounds shall be held at Combedene.
