Almost very good condition. The story of the Dorsetshire labourers who were convicted and sentenced to seven years transportation for forming a trade union. Large format. Three-quarters green/blue calf leather, blue cloth boards, colour frontis, colour plates, b/w photos and illustrations. Top edge gilt.
Top & tail of spine & corners worn, base of spine has some discolouration. Some staining to rear board. Text block browned. Some foxing and a few grubby marks throughout. Name in ink and also in pencil to front endpaper. Remains of dustwrapper included, loosely inserted.
