Adopted by the Penfold twins and hidden on their father's farm Philip becomes drawn into the mysteries of birth and death, the ancient lore of the land, and not least into the extraordinary ways of the blind mole whose determined burrowings seemed to be threatening the Penfold livelihood. Dark turquoise boards with gilt titles to spine. B/w illustrations. 160 pages.
Ex-library, front endpaper MISSING, tape residue to pastedowns, a few numbers written on prelims and rear endpaper. Bumping to spine and corners. About 3 page corners creased otherwise text pages very good. Dustwrapper is edge worn with a couple of small tears, spine is lightly browned, rear panel is grubby. Tape residue to flaps.
