- On a summer's holiday Cecile, the little french girl, flew to Paris to visit her aunt.
- Aboard the aeroplane were Cecile, her parents and five pieces of luggage. But there ought to have been a sixth, Cecile's very own pet Guinea Pig, Jean-Pierre, whom she had bought with her oen money and loved best in the world next to her parents. Jean-Pierre was in a special box with a window in it, all securely labelled for Paris with directions and instructions.
- Therewith began one of the most amazing and exciting adventures ever know to have happened in the recorded history of Guinea PIgs.
