AN ILLUSTRATED HISTORY OF THE WALLINGFORD BRANCH
Published by Wild Swan Publications. 1st. 1982
Very good condition. The Wallingford branch was the first stage of an 1861 scheme that would have linked the GWR main line with the Wycombe Extension Railway, then under construction. However, the full scheme failed to materialize. Today the line remains dormant and disconnected from the main line, while a newly formed preservation society struggles to secure its future. Blue pictorial cardwraps. B/w photos and diagrams. 68 page staple binding.
Covers browned but clean. Contents clean.
