"A story of the Yellow Peril". An imaginary story in which Japan and China join together to overwhelm the Northern Hemisphere. Olive green pictorial cloth with gilt titles. Grey endpapers. 6 b/w plates. 292 pages, all edges olivine. Spine bumped. Foxing to contents. Some grubby fingermarks to page margins. One plate has been reinserted in the wrong place (plate opposite pg 211 is opposite pg 196 instead).
