Claims against conscription, not only on grounds of conscience but also in cases of national interest, hardship and illness or infirmity, were heard by a country-wide network of Local and Appeal Tribunals. The records of the Warwick District Appeal Tribunal was one of the collections which escaped destruction after World War I. Blue cloth boards, gilt title to spine. viii and 598 pages including index.
Small knock to base of spine, tiny mark to front board. Contents appear unread. Pictorial dustwrapper has a tiny closed tear where knock to spine appears, is lightly scuffed.
