Very good condition in a good dustwrapper. The story of the British Army as a fighting machine. Red cloth. Gilt title to spine. 24 colour plates. 335 pages including index. Top edge red.

A few marks to rear board caused by old selotape bleeding. Light foxing/browning to text block. A few minor foxspots to prelims and endpapers. Else contents clean. Blue pictorial dustwrapper is edge-worn and chipped, a few closed tears, slight wear to surface paper at front flap edge, rear panel is a little scuffed, tape marks to verso.
