Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. The driver of the stage-coach has been hit by a bullet. Poco and Tim Bladen search for the unknown gunman and thus become involved in a hunt for treasure in the bad lands of the Pecos country. Red boards, dark titles and vignettes to front cover and spine. Colour frontis. B/w illustrations. 217 pages.
Minimal bumping to spine and corners, couple of light bumps to lower edge of front cover. Name and date in ink to front endpaper plus small ink date stamp. Front joint ever so slightly cracked. Foxing, mainly to endpapers and text block. Text pages clean. Dustwrapper is a little edge worn with small chips to base of spine. Rear panel and spine grubby/foxed, same on verso.
