Almost very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. The 1st "Jill" book. Light blue cloth, gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations. 192 pages.
Spine and corners a little bumped. Browning to spine and board edges. Piece (1.5 x 5") torn from top of front endpaper. Small brown patch caused by removal of label. Light browning to endpapers. Small closed tear to half-title page. Foxing mainly to top of page edges and margins. 'Jill' crossed out and 'Ann' written in ink on page 173. Price-cut dustwrapper is edge worn and chipped. Some foxing . Spine is browned and rear panel is a little creased and grubby.
