Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. The author has breathed new life and new death into the genre of the ghost story, a brilliant exercise in atmosphere and controlled horror. Green boards with gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations. 160 pages.
Light fading to spine, cover edges and unevenly to front cover. Small label removed from front pastedown causing surface paper damage. Pencil writing erased from top corner of front endpaper. Rear joint ever so slightly cracked. Book leans to one side a little. Dustwrapper is edge worn with small tear to bottom edge. Spine a tiny bit faded.
